BE PATIENT ………….

This is a true story which happened in the States. A
man came out of his
home to admire his new truck. To his puzzlement, his
three-year-old son was
happily hammering dents into the shiny paint of the
truck. The man ran to
his son, knocked him away, hammered the little boy's
hands into pulp as
punishment. When the father calmed down, he rushed
his son to the hospital.
>>
Although the doctor tried desperately to save the
crushed bones, he finally
had to amputate the fingers from both the boy's
hands. When the boy woke up
from the surgery & saw his bandaged stubs, he
innocently said, " Daddy,I'm
sorry about your truck." Then he asked, "but when
are my fingers going to
grow back?" The father went home & committed
suicide.
>>
Think about this story the next time someone steps
on your feet or u wish to
take revenge. Think first before u lose your
patience with someone u love.
Trucks can be repaired.. Broken bones & hurt
feelings often can't. Too often
we fail to recognize the difference between the
person and the performance.
We forget that forgiveness is greater than revenge.
>>
People make mistakes. We are allowed to make
mistakes. But the actions we
take while in a rage will haunt us forever.

RIGHT SPEECH !!!

There is a Chinese saying which carries the meaning
that "A speech will
either prosper or ruin a nation." Many relationships
break off because of
wrong speech. When a couple is too close with each
other,we always forget
mutual respect and courtesy. We may say anything
without considering if it
would hurt the other party.
>>
A friend and her millionaire husband visited their
construction site. A
worker who wore a helmet saw her and shouted,"Hi,
Emily! Remember me? We
used to date in the secondary school." On the way
home, her millionaire
husband teased her, "Luckily you married
me.Otherwise you will be the wife
of a construction worker." She answered ,"You should
appreciate that you
married me. Otherwise, he will be the millionaire
and not you."

CREATING PERFECT RELATIONSHIPS?

A person visited the government matchmaker for
marriage, SDU, and requested
"I am looking for a spouse. Please help me to find a
suitable one." The SDU
officer said, "Your requirements, please." "Oh, good
looking, polite,
humorous , sporty, knowledgeable, good in singing
and dancing. Willing to
accompany me the whole day at home during my
leisure hour, if I don't go out. Telling me
interesting stories when I need
companion for conversation and be silent when I want
to rest." The officer
listened carefully and replied, "I understand you
need television."
>>
There is a saying that a perfect match can only be
found between a blind
wife and a deaf husband ,because the blind wife
cannot see the faults of the
husband and the deaf husband cannot hear the nagging
of the wife. Many
couples are blind and deaf at the courting stage and
dream of perpetual
perfect relationship. Unfortunately, when the
excitement of love wears off,
they wake up and discover that marriage is not a bed
of roses. The nightmare
begins.

NO POINTING FINGERS

A man asked his father-in-law, "Many people praised
you for a successfulmarriage. Could you please share with me your
secret?"

The father-in-law answered in a smile, "Never
criticize your wife for her
shortcomings or when she does something wrong.
Always bear in mind that
because of her shortcomings and weaknesses, she
could not find a better
husband than
you."

We all look forward to being loved and respected.
Many people are afraid of
losing face. Generally, when a person makes a
mistake, he would look around to find a scapegoat to point the finger at.
This is the start of a war. We
should always remember that when we point one finger
at a person, the other
four fingers are pointing at ourselves.

If we forgive the others, others will ignore our
mistake too.

This Pastor has guts!! Thought you might enjoy this interesting prayer
given in Kansas at the opening session of their Senate. It seems prayer
still upsets some people. When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open
the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual
generalities, but this is what they heard:

“Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and
to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, ‘Woe to
those who call evil good,’ but that is exactly what we have done. We
have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values.

We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery

We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.

We have killed our unborn and called it choice.

We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.

We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self
esteem.

We have abused power and called it politics.

We have coveted our neighbor’s possessions and called it ambition.

We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it
freedom of _expression

We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called
it enlightenment.

Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin
and set us free. Amen!”

The response was immediate. A number of legislators walked out during
the prayer in protest. In 6 short weeks, Central Christian Church,
where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than 5,000 phone calls with
only 47 of those calls responding negatively. The church is now
receiving international requests for copies of this prayer from India,
Africa and Korea.

Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on his radio program, “The
Rest of the Story,” and received a larger response to this program than
any other he has ever aired.
With the Lord’s help, may this prayer sweep over our nation and
whole heartedly become our desire so that we again can be called “one
nation under God.”

PSALM 23

The Lord is my Shepherd…
THAT’S RELATIONSHIP!

I shall not want…
THAT’S SUPPLY!

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures…
THAT’S REST!

He leadeth me beside still waters…
THAT’S REFRESHMENT!

He restoreth my soul…
THAT’S HEALING!

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness…
THAT’S GUIDANCE!

For His name sake…
THAT’S PURPOSE!

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death…
THAT’S CHALLENGE!

I will fear no evil…
THAT’S ASSURANCE!

For thou art with me…
THAT’S FAITHFULNESS!

Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me…
THAT’S SHELTER!

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies…
THAT’S HOPE!

Thou anointest my head with oil…
THAT’S CONSECRATION!

My cup runneth over…
THAT’S ABUNDANCE!

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my
life…
THAT’S BLESSING!

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord…
THAT’S SECURITY!

Forever…
THAT’S ETERNITY!

Marble Story

There was this museum laid with beautiful marble tiles with a huge marble lady statue displayed in the middle of the lobby. Many people came from all over the world just to admire this beautiful marble lady statue.
-
One night, the marble tiles started talking to the Marble lady.
-
Marble tile: Marble lady, it’s just not fair, it’s just not fair! Why does everybody from all over the world come all the way here just to step on me while admiring you? Not fair!
-
Marble lady: My dear friend, marble tile, Do you still remember that we were actually from the same cave?
-
Marble tile: Yeah! That’s why I feel it is even more unfair. We were born from the same cave and yet we receive different treatment now. Not fair!
-
Marble lady: Then, do you still remember the day when the designer tried to work on you, but you resisted his tool?
-
Marble tile: Yes, of course I remember. I hate that guy! How could he use his tool on me, it hurt so badly.
-
Marble lady:That’s right! He couldn’t work on you at all as you resisted being worked on.
-
Marble tile: So???
-
Marble lady:When he decided to give up on you and start working on me instead, I knew at once that I would be something different after his efforts. I did not resist his tool, instead I bore all the painful tools he used on me.
-
Marble tile: Mmmmmmmmm…………
-
Marble Lady:
My friend, there is a price to everything in life. Since you decided to give up half way, you can’t blame anybody who steps on you now
-
The moral of the story is:
  • The more hard knocks you go through in life, the more you’ll learn and put them to use in the future.
  • Do not be discouraged by setbacks, challenges and failures.
  • No pain……no gain
  • Past is past, you can’t change it, but it is actually a blessing in disguise.
  • Past was good, present is better and the future will always be the best.
KEEP YOURSELF FOCUSED ON OUR HIGHEST VALUES, YOUR GOALS, AND YOUR ASPIRATIONS IN LIFE.

Holy Alphabet

Although things are not perfect
Because of trial or pain
Continue in thanksgiving
Do not begin to blame
Even when the times are hard
Fierce winds are bound to blow
God is forever able
Hold on to what you know
Imagine life without His love
Joy would cease to be
Keep thanking Him for all the things
Love imparts to thee
Move out of “Camp Complaining”
No weapon that is known
On earth can yield the power
Praise can do alone
Quit looking at the future
Redeem the time at hand
Start every day with worship
To “thank” is a command
Until we see Him coming
Victorious in the sky
We’ll run the race with gratitude
X alting God most high
Y es, there’ll be good times and yes some will be bad, but…
Z ion waits in glory…where none are ever sad!

“I AM Too blessed to be stressed!” The shortest distance between a problem and a solution is the distance between your knees and the floor.
The one who kneels to the Lord can stand up to anything. Love and peace be with you forever, Amen.

PS: GOD LOVES YOU…PASS THE WORD ON TO MORE FRIENDS AND ASK THEM TO CONTINUE TELLING OTHERS THAT GOD LOVES THEM TOO. JUST THINK OF HOW MANY PEOPLE THAT COULD BE REACHED OUT TO AND BLESSED WITH THESE WORDS.

If Noah Were A Filipino….

It is the year 2005 and Noah lives in the PHILIPPINES.

The Lord speaks to Noah and says: “In one year I am going to make it rain
and cover the whole earth with water until all is destroyed. But I want
you to save the righteous people and two of every kind of living thing on
the earth.

Therefore, I am commanding you to build an Ark.”

In a flash of lightning,God delivered the specifications for an Ark.

Fearful and trembling, Noah took the plans and agreed to build the Ark.

“Remember,” said the Lord, “You must complete the Ark and
bring everything aboard in one year.”

Exactly one year later, a fierce storm cloud covered the earth and
all the seas of the earth went into tumult.

The Lord saw Noah sitting in his front yard weeping.

“Noah.” He shouted, “Where is the Ark?”

“Lord please forgive me! ” cried Noah. “I did my best
but there were big problems.

First, I had to get a Mayor’s permit for construction and your plans “did
not comply with the codes”. had to hire their “engineering
firm” and “redraw” the plans.

Then I got into a fight with Municipal Fire Safety Inspector over whether
or not the Ark needed a fire sprinkler system and extinguishers.

Then my neighbor objected, claiming I was violating zoning ordinances by
building the Ark in my front yard, so I had to get a permit from the
municipal planning office.

I had problems getting enough wood for the Ark, because there was a ban
on cutting trees to protect the Monkey-Eating Eagle.

I finally convinced the DENR that I needed the wood to save
the eagles. However, the DENR won’t let me catch any eagles. So, no
eagles.

The carpenters formed a union and went out on strike. I had to negotiate a
settlement with the KMU. Now I have 16 carpenters on the Ark , but still no
eagles.

When I started rounding up the other animals, I got sued by an animal
rights group. They objected to me only taking two of each kind aboard.

Just when I got the suit dismissed, the DENR again notified me that I
could not complete the Ark without filing an environmental impact
assessment
on your proposed flood.

They didn’t take very kindly to the idea that they had no jurisdiction
over the conduct of the Creator of the universe.

Then the DPWH demanded a map of the proposed new flood plan. I sent them a
globe.

Right now, I am trying to resolve a complaint filed with the DOLE that I
am practicing discrimination by not taking godless, unbelieving people
aboard!

The BIR has seized all my assets, claiming that I’m building the Ark in
preparation to flee the country to avoid paying taxes. I just got a notice
from the BIR that I owe some kind of user tax and failed to register the
Ark as a recreational water craft.”

The NBI and ISAFP each wanted a piece of the action alleging that the Ark
would be used by the Magdalo soldiers to escape.

The PNP on the other hand insists that Misuari might use the Ark to flee
to Indonesia

Malacanang sees the opportunity to use the Ark for GMA’s Strong Republic
Nautical Highway presidential campaign sorties.

Finally the Senate got the courts to issue a TRO against further
construction of the Ark, saying that since God is flooding
the earth, it is a religious event and therefore unconstitutional.

I really don’t think I can finish the Ark for another 10 or 16 years!”

Noah wailed. The sky began to clear, the sun began to shine and the seas
began to calm. A rainbow arched across the sky.

Noah looked up hopefully.

“You mean you are not going to destroy the earth, Lord?”
“No,” said the Lord sadly….”The government is already doing that!!!
