Inside the Ballon
On the streets of New York, there was a ballon salesman. He was a good salesman. When the ballon business would go down a little bit, he would let one of his red ballons go and this would attract the attention of the people in the vicinity. In a few minutes this business picked up. Then a little later when it slowed down again, he let a white ballon go up and the same thing happened again. In a few minutes he let a yellow ballon go up and the same thing happened again.
Presently, a little colored boy walked up to him and he said, "Mister, if you let one of the black ballons go, would it also go up?"
And the man looked down at him, and with the wisdom that you normally don't expect to find in one whose occupation is so humble, he said, "Son, it's what's inside of these ballons that make them go up."
So it is with us-it's what's inside us that determines whether we stand still or whether we rise in life.

Ponts to Ponder
“Too many people are like goldfish swimming around and around in a goldfish bowl, never getting anywhere – like the caged squirrel, who chases his wheel until, at last exhausted, he finds himself just where he started.”
“There is somthing wrong when people are so worried and absorbed in making a lving that they cannot make a life.”
